Lieutenant Cedric B. Duncan

Lt. Cedric Duncan is the son of Mrs. Ola Turner and the late Eddie Duncan. Lt. Duncan was educated in the Macon County School System where he graduated from Macon County High School in 1984. Lt. Duncan then enrolled and majored in Accounting at West Georgia University in Carrolton, Georgia. Lt. Duncan began his career with the Montezuma Police Department in 1996. Lt. Duncan quickly rose through the ranks and has served the Montezuma Police Department as a Shift Supervisor, Detective, and Patrol Shift Commander.
Lt. Duncan is currently serving as Professional Service Manager. Lt. Duncan is in charge of all the training for the Montezuma Police Department and further serves as the Certification Manager. Lt. Duncan led the Montezuma Police Department to Certification in 2005 and the department was up for re-certification in 2009, which was accomplished with his expertise in that field.
In 2006, Lt. Duncan was selected as the Employee Of The Year of the Montezuma Police Department. Lt. Duncan has completed the Supervisors Module, Management Module, and the Executive Module at the Georgia Police Academy. He is currently a Certification Assessor through the Georgia Chiefs Of Police.
