The Montezuma Police Department utilizes a "phone buddy system" whenever a minor is reported missing. This enables everyone in the community the opportunity to assist the department in locating a missing or abducted minor. Please check this page periodically for missing or abducted alerts.

ARMED ROBBERY AT RBC BANK - ON FRIDAY, JULY 2, 2010 AT APPROX. 15:34 HOURS. This suspect was carrying a white or beige in color cloth bag that may have been discolored by the exploding dye placed in the bag with the money. If you or your business receives discolored money from this exploding dye, call the police department immediately after acceptng the money. Try avoid handling it as much as possible, but do accept it and try to obtain a tag number and type of vehicle when the person leaves the store. This suspect is armed and dangerous, do not approach! Large frame white male
25-35 years of age
possibly dark red to brown in color hair
full beard
Hairstyle is very short or possibly head shaven
5'8" - 5'11" in height
240-260 lbs
wearing a green and tan plaid long sleeve shirt
camouflage ball cap (possibly fitted)
black sunglasses with black strap around neck
black tennis shoes
loose fit blue jeans
May be occupying or driving a dark in color 1990-1999 model Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck
